From Nagoya we made what was supposed to be a 1-day trip to Hiroshima. It turned out to be 2-days - more on that later. This is the Dome Memorial to the a-bomb explosion at the end of WWII. It is what was left of the Hiroshima municipal office building and the only thing remaining standing for many kilometers around.
