Tamoyo and Barbara on the ferry to Setoda. The art musuem turned out to be dedicated to the most famous living artist in Japan today and a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing as a boy. His is currently the department head of the Tokyo University Art Department. We were given a private tour by the artist's two brothers who are also the museum's curators! They were waiting for us when we got there, so it was clearly arranged by our hosts of the previous evening. Quite and honor!
