Rebecca and 5 friends, including her boyfriend Nahid Harjee, hiked Mt. Whitney (14,500') in 2 days. On the first day, they went from base camp at 8,000' to an intermediate camp at 12,000' and then on the second day (starting at 4:30 am) from that camp to the summit at 14,500' and all the way back down.
