Now we are in Phoenix. We went to the Desert Botanical Garden at the recommendation of friends. Not only is the Garden huge and well worth the visit, there was an exhibit of glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly. He is very well known and has permanent exhibits in museums worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Louvre and the VIctoria & Albert Museum. He also has exhibits in various botanical gardens, including the Royal Botanic Gardens and the New York Botanical Garden. This exhibit alone was worth the time spent there.
