We took a "reverse tour" of the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel locks on a small tour boat. This boat was built in 1914 for J.P. Morgan and then sold to Alfonso Capone. It eventually was owned by Steve McQueen who took it to Panama in 1957 and it was sold to the Panama Canal Authority.
