This is a view of Stanley from across the bay. It is the capital and really the only town in the Falkland Islands. The total population of the Falklands is about 3,000 so this is a very small town. It is a British protectorate but its ownership is in bitter dispute with Argentina (where it is called Isla Malvinas). In 1982, Argentina unsuccessfully invaded the Falklands and they are still seething over that loss.
