And this is as close to Ushuaia as we got! Because of a flair-up of animosity between Artentina and Britain, and because our last port-of-call was Stanley, Argentina denied entry of our ship to Ushuaia. That was very disappointing. Ushuaia is the southernmost town (defined as a population of at least 400) in the world and gateway to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. We had planned to do some hiking and looked forward to sending some postcards from here. Drat!
