We stopped at Nuremberg, midway on the Main-Danube Canal. Nuremberg is, of course, known for many things; a pre-medieval city, the location of the rise of Hitler and the National Socialist Party, and the Nuremberg War Trials. We visited the building where the trials were held. The windows on the second floor behind the red flag is the courtroom.
