Our next stop on the Waterway was Kizhi Island, an Open Air Museum of Architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the northern end of Lake Onega. Lake Onega is the second largest lake in Europe. This is the Church of the Transfiguration, undergoing some renovations.
